Jul 2021: 7th Doctoral School on LC3 in Lausanne

7th LC3-Doctoral School

19th to 22nd July 2021
EPFL Lausanne, SWITZERLAND

Objective:

The Doctoral School gives an overview of the most recent advances on hydration of cementitious materials and especially blended cements. It includes detailed presentations, discussions and experiments of the most relevant and promising techniques for the study of cementitious materials. During the practical sessions, scientists and researchers will receive insights about all relevant factors which need to be considered to carry out laboratory experiments.

Topics include:

  • Hydration
  • Pozzolanic reactivity assessment
  • XRD and microscopy
  • Mechanical behaviour overtime
  • Mix design and admixtures
  • Hands-on practical sessions

Fees:

Student: 500 CHF
Regular: 1500 CHF
