JKCement has become the First company in India and the Indian Subcontinent region to produce LC3: Limestone Calcinated Clay Cement.

“At JKCement, our vision has been guided by the underlying principle of producing responsibly,” explains Madhav Singhania, Joint Managing Director, “as we believe, in all humility, that real progress must be sustainable.

Their product is suitable for all structures, such as beams, columns, and slabs, in addition to use in pavements, precast elements, and even soil stabilization. Its improved durability over traditional OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) and resistance to Chloride ingress and Sulphates also makes it ideal for use in all kinds of climates, including coastal areas, not only in India, but around the World.

Apart from its versatility and innovation, from the product point of view, LC3 is a great innovation that helps reduce CO2 emissions by about 40% to the environment, leaving a cleaner World, a better future for our Planet.

“Produced at our Mangrol Plant at Rajasthan, and fully backed by BIS certification,” says Madhav Singhania, “this LC3 cement is not just our promise to build stronger structures, but our commitment to sustainable development and progress.

“I heartily congratulate our team and the team at IIT, Delhi led by Prof. Shashank Bishnoi for their tireless efforts in helping build this dream into a commercial reality. We hope it plays its part in a World that is, rightly, demanding climate action on all fronts.”
