The LC3 Project is pleased to announce a formal agreement with Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc., (WJE) to act as LC3 Technical Resource Centre (LC3 TRC) in North America through WJE’s headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois, USA. This milestone expands the global LC3 TRC network, which already spans Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

WJE is a global firm of engineers, architects, and materials scientists committed to helping clients solve, repair, and avoid problems in the world of building. Founded in 1956, WJE is an established leader in providing innovative yet practical solutions to clients. WJE’s Janney Technical Center (JTC) is a 70,000-square-foot state-of-the-art testing and applied research facility with chemical, petrographic, metallurgy, concrete and mortar, and structural testing laboratories.

As an independent resource, the LC3 TRC in North America will provide unbiased specialized consulting and testing services to support the development, validation, and application of LC3 technologies, while also serving as a hub for knowledge exchange with industry stakeholders. Through joint participation in professional and industry events, the centre will contribute to advancing technical understanding, market uptake, and best practices for low-carbon cement and concrete solutions.

Looking ahead, collaboration with WJE will support the LC3 Project’s commitment to fostering innovation, supporting industry adoption, and accelerating the transition toward more sustainable construction practices in North America and beyond. This collaboration marks an important step toward strengthening the global LC3 ecosystem and scaling impact through trusted technical expertise and close industry engagement.
